Carmen is out of a job just before the holidays.  With little cash and few options, she is forced to move in with her perfect sister and take a job at a book store that desperately needs her help.

Mr. McCredie’s ancient book store sits on the picturesque streets of historic Edinburgh.  The store is dusty and disorganized, but charming.  Carmen is intrigued and despite herself, she aims to breath new life into the store in time for Christmas shopping.

A famous author takes an interest in the book store — and Carmen?  Will the Christmas spirit bring them together?  Will it help her fractured family to heal?
